Program: Duck Valley Water Service Notifications
The Duck Valley Irrigation/Water Department offers free text message (SMS) alerts to tract owners and water users so you know the status of your water service.
How to Sign Up (Opt In)
To start receiving alerts, give your mobile number to the Water Department and ask to be added to water-service text notifications. You can do this two ways:
- In person at the department office: 1036 Idaho State Highway 51, Owyhee, NV 89832
- By phone: 208-759-3100 ext. 1254
Department staff will record your consent with your water-service account.
What You'll Receive
- When irrigation water to your tract is turned on or off by a ditch rider
- System-wide water shutoff or service notices
- Drinking-water advisories for your area
Program Details & Disclosures
- Message frequency varies based on your water-service activity and any notices.
- Message and data rates may apply. These are billed by your mobile carrier; the Department does not charge for alerts.
- Reply STOP at any time to opt out. After you reply STOP you will receive one confirmation and no further messages.
- Reply HELP for help, or call 208-759-3100 ext. 1254.
- Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or of receiving water service.
- No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing; opt-in consent data is never shared with third parties.
